I recently saw a film (Earth 2100) that I thought to be very interesting. This film examined the climate change that is occurring today and the effects it will have by the year 2100. With the help of various scientists, they were able to look into the future and play out what will be the effects of the climate change occurring today.
They were constructing the steps that were going to have to be taken in order to contain the outcomes of global warming as well as what are some good things that we could do in order to ameliorate our future. For example, in New York City they said that it would make a big difference if we installed windmills on top of the buildings for the generating of power. Also, in this films they had that many buildings had gone green and people were able to grow their own crops for food.
There were many conflicts presented on this films as well as possible solutions that we could slowly take to better our situation here on earth. I just thought it was a very interesting film because I had never seen anything quite like it.
